@RaymondDoerr Personally, there's two key points that validate complaints about poor accessibility: 1) It is a budget, not design, decision 2) It excludes people that want to play games from playing games. Voicing such complaints is meaningful way to change budget decisions and priorities.

@RaymondDoerr It'd be nice if accessibility features were standardized enough to list as features, but the way things are now it'd be like saying "multiplayer" even if it's only "play by email." It means these reviews are helpful when deciding to purchase or, unfortunately for you, not.

@RaymondDoerr Just as it's not your fault that some would benefit from more accessibility work, it is not someone else's fault that you did not do that work. It's a fair reason for them to not recommend a product. The reasons why what shipped was what shipped doesn't change what was shipped.

@KR1573N Like a formalized Bridge role/designation, for the piece that makes communication possible between disparate systems and protocols. Not a scrum master or manager, as those are own-team focused. Instead: a cross-domain, cross-org Bridge.

@Chef_Lu_Bu I know almost nothing about Warhammer, but someone recommended the Horus Heresy to me. I was under the impression that Space Marines were supposed to be cool, but after reading it they seem dopey and lame. Is there more to them than muscles and angst?

@mekkaokereke Developers also want to work with trained, learned teammates. Removing obstacles to training and learning has a proxy effect on retention even for individuals that aren't facing those obstacles.

@oddbit Learning to write would have been easier if I'd have realized that the teachers were pulling the pencil to the right, whereas I was pushing it from the left. Lefties often have to trial and error into a grip and method based on results, instead of copying the teacher's method.
