Starting a project is not hard, finishing what we started is the hardest part. Sometimes when you are stuck in some complex part and you feel like what am I doing? How am i gone complete this project?.
The state of confusions. niceee!
Finally some progress:
- Adding context when nodes are connected (testing with a text node, will add more), you can see how chat nodes behave with and without context.
- Creating nodes in 2 ways, context menu and also on drag stop auto create.
- Persisting to the database.

Man after fighting with zod, typescript and prisma for 2 days finally able to do CRUD operations on the nodes. I don't wanna do this project using caludecode or codex, building it by typing line by line and understanding what actually I'm doing is fun.
New progress: Connected DB to the project, added sidebar which contains history of different canvas, each canvas has nodes and edges.
Learnt a lot about Prisma, Next.js server components and many more challenges. Excited about this project.
Learnt the basics of backend using express. Will be moving to database with postgress. As I'm learning I'm also documenting some important notes along the way.

Completed phase 1 of the project. A node based ai chat. Using react flow for node, one of the best pre built system. and used vercel ai-sdk for ai chatbot.
Next have to understand how context windows work and how to manage chat history, I'm open for suggestions and guidance.
I started doing DSA, Started reading system design book, Read some documentations required for an project.
Had a long gap, but yea we will get to the flow soon.
