SITUATION REPORT: BALTIMORE BRIDGE COLLAPSE - At 1:28 a.m. ET, a large container ship struck the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore. - Large parts of the bridge immediately collapsed, sending multiple vehicles into the water, including a group of construction workers. - Rescue workers believe at least 7 construction workers were on the bridge but say the figure could be as high as 20. - The container ship, the Singapore-flagged Dali, was leaving Baltimore for Sri Lanka. The ship suffered major damage, including a possible breach in the hull. - The cause of the collision was not immediately clear. The ship appeared to lose power in the minutes before the crash. - Rescue work is ongoing as of 4:15 a.m.
