The most alarming story in state government is the exodus of top staffers from Gov. Tina Kotek’s office, each driven out by conflicts with the governor’s wife. But you wouldn’t know that from talking to the top office-holders in Oregon. wweek.com/news/state/202…
@wweek It worked for Trump....
@wweek These politicians are fearful of Kotek because she's a bully. Her staff have left because she's intolerable. Her smugness and overt repugnancy is palpable. This isn't hard to figure out.
Talking to the family of one of the staffers. Tina Kotek doesn’t seem to respect boundaries of her staffers out of work. Long calls on what she should do late into the evening. Etc.. Aimee says and said whatever is on her mind. They didn’t elaborate on what she said except for “The things she said could result in a massive lawsuit if someone had recorded evidence” Aimee is using her status as governors wife as a power trip. Tina didn’t have enough staffers to begin with. The staffers basically had to do two or three jobs for the price if one. I speculate the staffer on the payroll still was slid a deal. Don’t sue for a racial discrimination and make things public and we’ll pay you.
@wweek The commies from this rag dislike her, so although she might bad, Kotek might not full stop authoritarian commie-level horrible; OR they just haven't thrown enough money her way.
@wweek Sounds like an abusive facilitating relationship that got carried into the office workplace . I'm watching for the rest of the story. After the ethics review. Strongly suspect more troubling parts to this story.
@wweek Who's gonna hold her accountable? Where is the powerful opposition party? WW has bent over backwards to support the Dems, @NigelJaquiss and his team notwithstanding. This is what you have sown. Reap it.
@wweek Why can’t we use that powerball $$$&&money for the Salem school? How embarrassing the state capital can’t even run a school !!!
