a few days ago i came across this post regarding hybe’s h1 report (they were highlighting ador’s numbers), and looking at belift’s numbers honestly left me kinda speechless. maybe because i had never actually gotten into their financials properly or stopped to look at the evidence myself. but one thing is pretty clear to me here: belift does not need fans to “prove enhypen’s value” to them. they already know exactly how valuable their artists are. according to hybe’s h1 2026 report, belift generated roughly ₩89.9B in revenue and ₩24.1B in net profit in just six months. and this is coming after a 2025 in which belift was already extremely profitable. so i guess the “belift is broke” jokes can finally leave the table. and especially the idea that we somehow need to spend harder so they will eventually give enhypen proper treatment and promotions. because at this point, what exactly are we trying to prove to them? there is nothing in these numbers suggesting that belift is a label financially incapable of investing as they should in its artists. if promotions are lacking, then we need to talk about priorities and management decisions, not act as if the fandom simply hasn’t given them enough money yet. and this is exactly why “i’m buying/streaming because that’s the only way i can support the members, even though i hate the company” has never made sense to me as an argument against a financial boycott. your intentions can be completely genuine. i’m not questioning that. but belift’s accounting system cannot read your intentions. because let’s be real for a second: your purchase does not arrive with a post-it attached saying “this money is for enhypen, but i disapprove of the way you manage them”. it comes to them as revenue. so commercially, the company sees that people are continuing to consume and spend under the current management model. and if that model keeps producing money anyway, why would they change it? that is what makes this especially frustrating. we are looking at a company making tens of billions of won in profit while the fandom is simultaneously having conversations about insufficient promotions, poor scheduling, questionable management decisions and whether enhypen is being given the level of investment they deserve. and somehow the answer is supposed to be…give the company even more money so they understand enhypen is valuable? enhypen’s value does NOT need to be proven. belift’s own financial results already tell them that their artists generate an extremely successful business. the question should be why that success is not being reflected back into the level of management, promotion and care people have been asking for…for i genuinely can’t even remember how long.
