The relationship between Taylor and his successors – Lore and Rodriguez – disintegrated over the past two-plus years, sources tell ESPN. Lore/Rodriguez did raise money necessary to purchase controlling interest, but Taylor contends that they didn’t meet contractual deadlines throughout transition.
@wojespn I noticed that A-rod and Lore have not been to games recently... This explains
@wojespn I think that this was a long term chess move by Lore and Arod Both have Seattle ties and with a team coming available in a few years in expansion for about the same price they felt it better to get out of this deal and wait for expansion. Locale Sea >Minnesota doesn’t hurt 2
Glenn was asking 1 BILLION dollars less than Forbes valued the team, and it’s been 3 years… if I had been offered that sort of a deal, with that sort of leniency… I’d cross all my T’s and dot all my I’s to make sure I was contract sufficient. This was Lore and Rodriguez’s problem/fault IMO.
@wojespn Time to take to the courts ! I mean basketball courts
