A "genocide" is the actual or seriously attempted extermination of an ethnic group. This was not, until 7 minutes ago (think "racism") a contested term. Neither Israel nor Hamas is "committing a genocide." There's a war on.
@wil_da_beast630 Words stopped having meanings. Now they have functions.
@wil_da_beast630 The difference is: Israel COULD, but don't. Hamas can't but would.
@wil_da_beast630 The same groups that can’t define men/women will continue to redefine words to push their agenda
@wil_da_beast630 Apparently when a war doesn't go your way, it's a genocide.
@wil_da_beast630 @chadfelixg Hamas attempted one on Oct 7. And they claim it is their goal.
@wil_da_beast630 Difference: Israel has the capacity to do it, and isn't. Hamas absolutely would if they could.

@wil_da_beast630 thats a very good point both want the same land both have allies so they fight all is fair in love and war
@wil_da_beast630 That is true, however Hamas is the only one of those two parties to openly express a desire for the genocide of the other, even though they don’t have the power to effect one
@wil_da_beast630 The bomb that blew up the Oklahoma Federal building was a two-ton. In four years, the U.S. dropped one two-ton bomb in Iraq. In 5 months, the IDF dropped 500 two-ton bombs on an area the size of Newark, NJ. But sure, let's call this a "war."
