They signed him. Promised him the world. Then sign a worse striker in Delap and tell him he’s done. All because in reality, they’re a puppy farm. The intention was always to sell whether the player likes it or not. They put him in a bomb squad and isolate him. Give him no choice but to move on. He sets up an escape to a top club… and then Chelsea kill the deal because Delap will be out for 6 weeks and they want Jackson to sit on their bench. This is Clearlake’s Chelsea.
