Yesterday I pointed out that a good portion of the $60 billion they want for Ukraine is actually reimbursements for the Department of Defense who, without congressional approval, contracted weapons and munitions for Ukraine and now they have to replace the funds that they contracted to feed the Defense industrial complex with that they took upon themselves to commit to without congressional authorization. If congress doesn't stop the DOD from committing to these unauthorized contracts for Ukraine then they're going to keep on doing it. So tell your representatives to force the DOD to comply with congressional approval before they commit to any future contracts to Ukraine or any other foreign country.
@wendyp4545 You should see the 5 year multi-billion dollars contracts the DoD is putting out now ahead of the election. Worse than the Obama/Biden spending spree in January 2017 before Trump took office.
@wendyp4545 Isn't this actually a good opportunity to "feed the Defense industrial complex" as you say? In order to maintain strong Western military superiority, you have to "feed" this industry, no?
@wendyp4545 Just wanted to say "thanks" for continuing to bring this sort of information to light!
@wendyp4545 I feel like our Government cares more about tracking my Venmo transactions than the Pentagon budgets, which never pass the audits.
In Connecticut, republican representatives… I will call, but they don’t care… another topic… But how did that happen? 30 years of Democrats impossible to believe that people continue to vote against their own interest, but I guess that’s another topic…. Great information, Wendy, as always…
