Can't remember the last time I was talking/forecasting a big snow event in September. Just ran the latest GFS model for 72 hour snow fall. Oregon Cascades 4.5 to over 5" of snow. Over a foot possible in Washington Cascades. Parts of Montana over 3 feet.

Jefferson County, TX has measured 43.15” of rain from #Imelda. To put this into perspective: #Harvey unloaded 60.58” of rain. On average, Beaumont, TX receives ~60” of rain in a year. In all of 2011, Beaumont only recorded 32.13" of rain. Reports: ow.ly/w5S250wgWo1
