Walt Disney changed entertainment forever. Cartoons and tv will never be the same thanks to him. J.P. Rockefeller changed the oil industry..
After this Walt started rolling out series like: Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Mickey Mouse, and Silly Symphonies
It wasn't long after this that Alice's wonderland comedies became pppular
After the bankruptcy Walt and Roy moved to Hollywood and open another studio
Walt was married to Lillian Bounds on July 25, 1925
After this he opened his first studios, called Laugh-O-Gram, it wasn't long and the studio became bankrupt
Together they made a cartoon called "Laugh-O-Grams" which became popular
He soon became interested in animation and opened an animation company, hiring Fred Harman as his first employee
However their business did not last long. Walt left to earn money at the Kansas City Film Ad Company and Iwerks soon followed him
Walt Disney began his animation career when he met Ubbe Iwerks. They started a company called "Iwerks-Disney Commercial Artists"
Had a younger sister named Ruth as well as two older brothers Ray and Herbert
He won a total of 22 Academy Awards. Including the Cecil B. DeMille Award
His brother Roy Oliver Disney was a Co-Founder in the company
He went to McKinley High School and attended Chicago Academy of Fine Arts
He was born on December 5, 1901 in Chicago Illinois. And he died December 15, 1966
Some of his most famous creations were Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy
