Being green on the day doesn't mean you traded well. Being red doesn't mean you traded badly. Judge the decisions. Then judge the results.
You made $800. Then gave back $300. You're still up $500. But somehow it feels like you lost $300. That's the kind of mental math that turns green days red.
Some traders don't have a daily loss limit. They have a daily emotional breaking point. Unfortunately, they usually discover it too late.
Your account balance shouldn't determine the quality of the next setup. Yet traders suddenly see "A+ setups" everywhere when they're down money.
Honestly if you’ve found my discord, congrats to you. You found a hidden gem. I have been giving daily bangers for FREE for the last month as I launched the cord a month ago.
Green PnL makes traders feel invincible. Red PnL makes them feel desperate. Both emotions can destroy your decision-making.
Trading isn’t hard y’all just broke and that makes it wayyyyy harder. The biggest simfluencers couldn’t trade a small account if their life depended on it so don’t compare yourself to them. Watching a move happen without you feels like losing money. It isn't. That confusion causes a lot of actual losses.
One of the biggest upgrades you can make as a trader: Stop attaching your intelligence to the outcome of one trade. Smart traders are wrong every day.
Trading alone makes it VERY easy to lie to yourself. Nobody knows you broke your rules. Nobody knows you revenge traded. Nobody knows you oversized. Accountability changes things. That's a big reason I built the community in my bio.
