@mer2475 I’m curious where you are from? I’ve lived in two countries outside of the US and done some traveling. America is one of the LEAST racist countries in the world. We’re just a lot more willing to talk about it (which is a good thing if we want to improve).

I don’t have strong feelings about Saban. Not personal. I’m just saying he doesn’t like the new direction because it doesn’t handcuff those who won’t cheat.

@jtthebamafan Both. When the SEC (not just Alabama) and others were paying players under the table they didn't have to pay anywhere near as much as they do today because there was no competition. That isn't the only reason they were successful, but finances are why they've started to slide.

@FoxNews Nick Saban is still on Alabama's payroll. Previously, SEC teams paid their players against the rules. Now they've lost their advantage. Other teams are paying their players too and the SEC teams aren't doing well in the CFB playoff. Of course, he wants to go back to the old way.

@TheWildUte @LockedOnUtes I never thought it made sense for the Pac 10 to invite Utah, so what do I know? That said, isn't the need for a private equity deal evidence, in and of itself, that Utah doesn't bring enough money to the table to make the pie big enough to improve things for the Big Ten?

@Utah_AM And as another active church member, I hate that you hate it. Who is it harming? Historically, BYU has had their worst round of the tournament when playing on the off day. It doesn't feel natural to them and it ends up being a disadvantage. But, again, who does it harm?
