@dhh the language used by some of these tech celebrities is so over the top as if they don't have any idea what words mean in certain contexts. i say tech celebrities because in another tweet i read them asking their "fans" for something. yes, they used this word "fan". i had to mute

@TkDodo highly contextual, what if there's 3 set of business conditions determining if the table should be rendered including if the table has valid items. in that case it may be better to rename if as 'shouldRenderTable' or something similar.

@DorianDevelops aws cloud is a complex web of solutions. On their scale, it's a good product even UI wise. Remember hundreds of teams and thousand & thousands of developers are iterating over it on daily basis for years.

@housecor disagree, unless the code is highly contextual. Almost all documentation should belong in a PR description. I think so because I can explain everything in detail, with references, data, context without worrying about it becoming stale or too much info to be put in a comment.

@Mr0Bread get on with it brother, just open a blog post or a YouTube video and you'll have atleast enough understanding to start working. Maybe modern tools are not part of the curriculum but it does equip you with the critical and fundamental concepts of computer engineering.

@EmmaBostian Once I just can't procrastinate any longer, there's too much anxiety and since no option to procrastinate I get to work. sometimes I wonder how I am managing this SDE job like this. Only good thing is I have, in the last moment, managed to hit the deadlines. It's tiring 🥱

@EmmaBostian was for the most part self diagnosed, discussed with a psychiatrist and he prescribed anti anxiety medications - I felt slow so I did not continue. I went back to killing time getting anxious about getting something done till the very last moment.
