The owner was kind enough to give me access to the platform for free because I reported the issue responsibly. But the bigger point is this: As developers, we shouldn’t exploit someone’s hard work when we find these mistakes.
I recently found a serious bug in a SaaS platform. I won’t reveal the name, but many senior frontend/design engineers learn from it because it teaches complex animation concepts in a simple, practical way. From micro-interactions to larger animation systems.
