I no longer donate anything to “charity”. I have come to the conclusion that most charities and family foundations are complete scams. They aren’t funding some noble cause. Their purpose is to provide salaries and pay the expenses of the executives or family members or other connected individuals. The charity wrapper is primarily a tax avoidance strategy. Trillions of $$$ are parked in these tax free entities, invested and growing and supporting designated beneficiaries with jobs, travel and expenses.

Labour’s “protect the kids” mask is slipping again. Here’s my VPN, shock horror, I actually control what my children see online. It’s built right into the app they now want to demand Digital ID for. Stopping kids from seeing adult content (and much more) is already incredibly easy for parents. The Family Security and Social tabs do exactly that, no Digital ID required. This has nothing to do with safety. It’s simply another pretext for greater intrusion and control.

It is suggested that Andy Burnham will bring in restrictions on VPN’s. That places the UK alongside nations like China, North Korea and Iran. You see where we are headed?

This is Britain… where 12 foreign workers from Cameroon, can bring in 180 dependents to join them. This abuse of the system could be stopped overnight by Labour. They choose not to do so.

More than any tax, any devolution, any hare-brained, befefits-dependency-inducing lunacy, any of their eco-insanity - this 👇scares me. Silencing free speech is simply chilling. And anti-democratic. It really does pitch the governed against the government. Combined with mass migration and ending jury trials, controlling what we can or can’t read and share will end Britain as we have known it.

It also refused to answer parliamentary questions about the group’s budget and how its members were selected. I cannot remain silent on this. The Pope’s decision to do this now, right as Europe is witnessing yet another wave of murders of its citizens by migrants (think of Louis, Christian, Henry, and the countless others) cannot be dismissed as a mere public relations blunder. It is a painful slap in the face of the Christian native peoples of Europe and all those who lost their children and loved ones as a result of mass migration. Where is the Church’s charity and compassion toward them? Why do we not hear a word from the Pope about the 250,000 white British girls who were raped? Why do we not hear a word about the attacks on Europe’s Churches and Christian communities? Why do we not hear a word about the millions of Europeans who are unsafe and estranged, fast becoming a minority in their own homelands? The Church’s silence regarding the threats European Christians face is already deafening. Combining it with telling Europeans that they must do more to “integrate and protect migrants”, is adding insult to injury. As a new Catholic, I have generally tried to refrain from critiquing the Pope, for we do not lightly challenge the father. This, however, is not a matter of dogma or infallible teaching. The Pope has chosen to make a political and pastoral statement on migration, and on such prudential questions the faithful may legitimately form and express their own judgment. We saw that with the Courts and Tribunals Bill, which ministers tried to force through Parliament at breakneck speed and which would have severely curtailed our ancient right to trial by jury. The Government is not content with just banning under-16s from accessing social media. Lucy Powell wants to go much further and has identified the Representation of the People Bill as the legislative vehicle for doing so. The Free Speech Union had already earmarked the Representation of the People Bill as legislation of significant concern. While Keir Starmer may be leaving Number 10, it is becoming increasingly clear that an Andy Burnham government would be every bit as hostile to free speech — if not more so.

The EU’s Chat Control is a filthy anti-democratic power grab ‼️ Parliament killed it months ago. But Brussels ignored the vote and is now forcing a do-over to scan your private encrypted messages anyway. This was never about kids. It’s about building mass surveillance! Chat Control shows the EU’s disregard for privacy, lawlessness, and contempt for democratic outcomes. They lost once already. Now they are trying again, under softer rules, with your private messages on the table. There is little worse in the world than the EU.

Look at this appalling state censorship. Labour now want to seize control of YouTube's algorithm. They want YouTube to artificially boost the BBC and Channel 4's content, and suffocate independent journalists and producers. The BBC has been biased to pro-mass migration, open borders, and Net Zero views these past few decades. It's part of the reason we're in a mess. The BBC's own internal reports admit and document some of this bias. People have moved to X and YouTube in part as a response to it. And now, Labour want to control what they see there? Reform will scrap this heavy handed lunacy.
