NEW: I'm told by federal sources that the parents of the 18-year-old man arrested by the FBI for allegedly plotting an ISIS inspired mass shooting at Minnesota’s Mall of America are both Somali nationals who first flew into New York in 2000 and were later naturalized into U.S. citizens. Mom in 2010, dad in 2017. It's unclear how they initially came in (visa, refugee, etc). The suspect, Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud, was born in the US in 2008 before his parents were naturalized, and he received his US citizenship as a result of birthright citizenship.  DOJ says Mohamud's parents refused to speak with the FBI when they tried to make contact with the family last year when there were initial indications of potential radicalization.

May we never forget what Hamas did to Israel on this day three years ago. The murders, the torture, the rape, the rampage that took 1,200 lives as they swept in on unsuspecting people who just wanted to live in peace. I was there very shortly after and walked through the kibbutzes and spoke with survivors. It was unimaginable evil. And Hamas' decision to launch this attack led to the destruction of most of Gaza and the suffering of many more people. Pray for the “peace of Jerusalem” (Psalm 122:6), as the Word of God tells us.

My beef with Abdul: He says he’s a doctor. He’s not. He’s unlicensed. He’s for abolishing the police. He deleted the tweet, but CNN found it. His staff denied he’s a dual citizen w Egypt. Who uses that language? Mamdani was given a security clearance last week, as I reported. @Kash_Patel really needs to exercise better judgement on these matters. How can Mamdani keep his security clearance when he was at Abdul’s fundraiser last night and Abdul signed a pledge in support of the Muslim Brotherhood? What are we doing?
