I've added the rest of the face controls, you can control most parts of the face, as well as the side profile and randomise them all to generate characters This model will have some basic body options but eventually I'll make a fully customisable mesh, head to toe! #blender #b3d

Most of the characters I make are pretty similar, so I'm trying to make a Customisable Basemesh that has good topology that will allow me to make female characters quicker! As well as the Rig, I also wrote an addon to randomise the faces! Still a WIP! #blender #b3d

#XMen97 is probably the best use of 3D models that look 2D! As well as the cel shading and line art, they limit all of the motion to fake the 2D look, and there were only a handful of scenes that looked 3D, it's very impressive! I'd love to know more about their workflow!

My Sketch Shader is almost finished! I realised I never showed off the Compositing and Animation side of things, but all of the textures can flicker and there's 9 different paper textures to choose from at different crumple levels! #blender #b3d

I've scanned in a bunch of different paper textures and made them seamless to use as the background for my Sketch Shader I've also scanned in different crumple/damage levels to give you control over how damaged you want the paper to look! #blender #b3d

It's always so fun seeing variations after making shape keys! This is eventually going to become part of some kind of Character Customiser like my Adjustable Mannequin, but you'll be able to change the face, body, hands, feet, ears etc. #blender #b3d

Adjustable Mannequin v1.2 will also have Pose Presets to choose from! Now all you have to do is choose a pose preset and from there you can start tweaking things manually! I've also added some placeholder weapons to let you visualise action/fighting poses! #blender #b3d

One cool thing I'm adding for v1.2 of my Adjustable Mannequin is Character Presets using Blender's Pose Library. You can easily select a character, or blend between characters, and you can even just select areas and only those bones will be changed! #blender #b3d
