The Century Initiative immigration lobby's plan to turn Canada into a collection of "mega-regions" is surreal. Imagine living in a Toronto with a population of 33.5 million.

@valdombre Canada may be able to accommodate max of 50 million people. But 100 million people is just not #sustainable.. One issue, currently we are a net food exporter, 100 mill would likely turn Canada into a net importer of food; think balance of trade harm, value of CAD$
@valdombre @PoliticsFan05 For a 33.5M population - around 2100. We will need many more hospitals, multiple subway lines and so much more. Yeah we don’t need to listen to century group
@valdombre @Graff2023 Just imagine.
@valdombre WTAF. Calgary and Edmonton are three hours apart. Three hours!

@valdombre Much like NYC, Toronto will likely hit a terminal population and then sprawl will be forced. NYC has been hovering around 7.5M-8.5M pop since the 50s.
@valdombre Look who has the greatest percentage change too, the conservative stronghold of Alberta.
@valdombre A communist multi-racial Babel-tower...
