It's here! The HEY Calendar is available on all platforms for everyone with a hey.com email address. Existing customers, new customers, all. We'll be rolling out our custom domain support soon, as well. Huge thanks to all the early adopters, and everyone who helped spread the word. And an extra special thanks to those who stood with us during the latest App Store thing — we hope our experience ultimately helps everyone, especially those small developers without a voice, and without leverage. I thought this would also be a good time to share a single picture that embodies the original inspiration many of the fundamental and philosophical ideas behind the HEY Calendar. It was our old school huge paper family calendar that we tape up on the side of our kitchen island every month. Below is a picture I shared with our company early in the development of the calendar. It's flexible, it's fun, it's full of personality, it's "messy" (in a comfy, cozy way), and most of all, it's perfectly ours. Aiming for the Google Calendar, or other digital calendars, would be aiming low. Aiming for the flexibility of paper, is aiming high. 🎯

Someone driving an SUV hit 7 cyclists out on a morning ride near Delray Beach, FL yesterday. News reports indicate that one rider has died and at least two others are in critical condition. For US riders, this sort of incident is like school shootings. Mind-numblingly common.

I’ve been wondering why McDonald's would tear down the perfectly good store on Baseline here in Boulder. But after hearing what @mountainroche did to their bathroom, it's clear they had no choice but to start over completely. 😅
