@lyft @AskLyft @lyft says it releases the holds immediately and that my bank can take 5–7 business days to restore access to the money. My bank told me the authorization issue was on Lyft's side. Meanwhile, I'm the consumer stuck without access to my money.

@lyft @AskLyft This isn't theoretical. My bank account was pushed -$127 negative while Lyft's temporary authorization holds were still pending. Lyft support actually acknowledged in writing that my funds were already being held to cover those trips.

@lyft @AskLyft Then @lyft bundled those completed rides and charged my account AGAIN for the final fares while the original authorization holds were still tying up my money. The result? Roughly twice the money for those rides was temporarily unavailable in my checking account.
