“While a Manhattan jury weighs the evidence of Mr. Trump’s alleged crimes, it’s the American people who will weigh the evidence of Mr. Trump’s actions. His party has allowed him to act with impunity, but Americans voters still have the power to deliver accountability. They should consider not only the facts presented during the trial — the details about his judgment, his character and the way he conducted his life and his business — but also his disregard for the rule of law and his willingness to demean American justice when it suits his interests. Those actions render him manifestly unfit for office and would pose unique dangers to the United States during a second term. The greatest of those dangers, and the one that Americans should be most attuned to, is the damage that a second Trump presidency would inflict on the rule of law.” nytimes.com/2024/04/17/opi…
@tribelaw Having him in a courtroom under the control of US, is a start, I hope justice prevails, but I’m skeptical and who could blame me after what we’ve been through, but US will prevail, stay well sir.
@tribelaw @ritagwood Corporate executives greed, due to Trump tax cuts for the wealthy only. How about we haul those same corporate executives into congress & explain to the American people why these executives have padded their pockets but continue to increase their prices on consumer goods.
@tribelaw #WeThePeople are Trump’s jury. The Trump presidency was a failure. Trump also ignores the fact that both in 2016 & in 2020 he did not win the popular vote.
And let's not forget the irony of the situation. Here we have a man who claims to be a champion of law and order, yet he's the one who's constantly flouting the law and sowing disorder. It's like watching a firefighter who's also an arsonist - you can't help but wonder which side they're really on.
@tribelaw Democrats can’t win without lawfare and cheating. Their desperation is showing. That’s how I see it.
@tribelaw We will remember in November. Trump won’t get back in the Oval Office, mostly because he will be serving a sentence, likely at a federal penitentiary.
@tribelaw Let's just play through. FORE! #VoteBlueToSaveDemocracy
@tribelaw It's time he faces the music and America finally moves on from the worst president in our history
@tribelaw I think we’ve all seen more than enough evidence for FAR too long now. GUILTY!!!
@tribelaw The only people who are demeaning the Justice system are you and your ilk who think these show trials represent justice.
