BRUTAL: Senator Markwayne Mullins delivers the most devastating, lopsided takedown of environmentalists I have ever seen. "If you want to end it, then quit using it!" Mullins satisfyingly humiliates a smug, know-nothing young gal over her pretend crusade against plastics while pointing out the glasses on her face, the water bottle on her table, the clothes she's wearing, and the shoes she has on all rely on fossil fuels. Interestingly, Mullins is the only Native American Senator currently serving in Congress, but when was the last time you heard the left celebrate him? Especially on one of their favorite made-up holidays - Indigenous Peoples' Day? So they pretend to care about stuff like the environment and race, but it turns out they just like weaponizing those things for more power against you.
@toddamtrib Shocked at conversation. Why not bring up the Sabatier process? Sabatier process converts Water + carbon dioxide into Methane and Oxygen. Methane is a hydrocarbon and can be further refined into what-have-you-plastics.
I think there are common sense ways of approaching plastics. But to just outright outlaw them makes no sense. Plastics can most certainly be very destructive to the environment especially for marine life and I don’t think most people would disagree with that. Recycling and biodegradable plastics are a good place to start and let science and funding sane initiatives do the rest.
@toddamtrib @ChuckCallesto I love fossil fuels. I know that fossil fuels are brilliant, cost saving and safe in America. Fossil fuels are the best, most reliable and consistent source America has. I want to always use fossil fuels.
@toddamtrib We spend so much time discounting other viewpoints that we fail to see their merits or acknowledge the flaws in ours. His points are relevant and must be considered, but there is a middle ground here that can be a benefit to humanity.
@toddamtrib Love his statement of "if you believe it, then live it" with the quiet part being stop preaching to the rest of us if you don't!
@toddamtrib And this is even more applicable to fossil fuels.
