First box has arrived back and we’re off!!!! #TLE12

I'm managing the Dukinfield count - wonder if we will be first to finish…..not that we’re competitive! #TLE12

Emergency shoes are on! I’ve briefed my counters and at 10pm prompt we will start to count the postal votes #TLE12

Once we know we’ve got the right number of votes we then sort into candidates #TLE12

We don’t count votes into parties immediately. First we make sure the number of votes in the box matches the ballot account. #TLE12

If not we count again. And again….! #TLE12

The count is the most exciting part of the day. Polling stations shut at 10pm - then its all systems go! #TLE12

Briefing session at Dukinfield Town Hall to prepare for the count. Excited now! #TLE12

For the first time all counts are in the same room - Jubilee Hall. Results will be posted on the web and here as they happen #TLE12

Another trip round my polling stations to check they are all OK. Picked up lots of postal votes that have been handed in #TLE12

Call from a polling station in Mossley to say their sign has disappeared. On my way with a replacement. #TLE12

Visited all my polling stations and checked all is well. Time for breakfast - where to eat....? #TLE12

All Stations in Stalybridge South are up and running - St Paul's had it's 1st voter at 7am on the dot! #TLE12

Time for a quick brew then I'm off on my rounds to check all the stations are set up correctly and ready to open at 7am on the dot #TLE12

Phew...all arrived on time and have gone off to set up their polling stations #TLE12

Am raring to go! Waiting to hand out ballot boxes/keys etc to elections staff - fingers crossed they all show up on time! #TLE12
