This is a brilliant example of how to be a Christian in the public square. Notice the witness, but in a form the culture can handle. We should desire to have more Christians in these spaces and give them grace as they operate.

If you would like a deeper dive into why some commentators a) do not accept Stephen's own identity as a Christian, b) nor accept this as a "full Christian answer" c) nor believe Christians can faithfully be in secular spaces without "compromising" see: quarterly.gospelinlife.com/the-decline-of…
@timkellernyc If you think this is how Christians should be in the public square, you’re wrong. Here is a better example:
@timkellernyc Did the apostle Paul preach in a way the public could handle? The apostles John & Peter? Or were they imprisoned? Asking for a friend.
@timkellernyc comments on this are really sad . the clip shows a beautiful witness that Death is not the end. Christians sure do need to laugh more
@timkellernyc I appreciate what Stephen said, especially on the spot and with very little time to answer. He definitely sounded as someone who had a lot to say especially with how faith leads to avoiding destructive habits and is focused on self sacrifice and love instead of selfishness.
@timkellernyc To those upset about this: 1. When was the last time you spontaneously shared the gospel with a lost person? 2. Do you always get through the life, death, and ress in every gospel conversation you have? 3. Might he have opportunity now to speak to this woman further? YES!
