Being able to halt the whole thing for "server maintenance" is such a web2 blessing...
@thereal0xalice It's a CD issue. A normal web2.1 game with NFTs can just take its AWS instance or cloud formation or whatever offline for an hour to do updates.

@thereal0xalice there's infinity problems: - your entire infra is a moving target (DePIN), so you need safety-nets up the ass - true ownership so the data + software artefact has to be resistant to entropy - cheap and generic, and no 3rd party scams - can actually be usable by a sane person

@thereal0xalice not really, they're very standard problems, just most people don't really care there's a scale from web2 to web3; EV is questionable the higher up you because you disintermediate more / gatekeep less the only "upside" is that you may fix actual problems instead of VC drivel
