Friday Commitment: The Ro80 was ‘leaner’ when it came to corners (due to its long-travel suspension) & it’s also a good lesson on why that’s not a bad thing either… @neilmbriscoe @t2stu @DarraghMcKenna @TopOfTheTower @StvCr @alantaylorjones
@thecarfactoids @neilmbriscoe @t2stu @DarraghMcKenna @TopOfTheTower @StvCr @alantaylorjones @MotoringArchive A housemate of mine had one of those in 1979. He used to drive is all to work in it. It seemed like a lovely car at the time, especially compared to the very spartan Mk1 Escort L that the other chap we shared with owned.
@thecarfactoids @neilmbriscoe @t2stu @DarraghMcKenna @TopOfTheTower @StvCr @alantaylorjones @MotoringArchive Still a great looking car.
@thecarfactoids @neilmbriscoe @t2stu @DarraghMcKenna @TopOfTheTower @StvCr @alantaylorjones @MotoringArchive Loved that picture when it first came out. And I have been cornered in my own Ro80 which I've owned since 2009 harder than in any other car - by the guru of all things Ro80 UK @DJPhilmanns Still the most brilliant car in snow
@thecarfactoids @neilmbriscoe @t2stu @DarraghMcKenna @TopOfTheTower @StvCr @alantaylorjones @MotoringArchive One of the best “leaners” was the Citroen Dyane….my work colleagues would joke I could scrape the door handles on the road when going round the roundabout near the office in mine!😂
@thecarfactoids The P6 of the day were't that far behind.
