What a brilliant Open Evening! Hearing our students speak so eloquently about our values, end goals and ‘the why’ of how we do things makes us beyond proud (this particular student doing so in Spanish for some of our prospective families!). They say it best! 🌟💙
The wonderful Jiji joined us in Y11 after missing most of Y10 at another school… today she collected some PHENOMENAL results, including two grade 9s and a grade 8. She is testament to our belief in transformation and commitment to inclusion. This picture sums up how we feel!🌟💙
We are so proud of our English results, with 93% of our Y11 cohort (65% of which are disadvantaged) getting a 4+ 🙌 Rabibah here absolutely smashed it - achieving a grade 8 and 9 in her English and will be the 4th member of her family joining our Sixth Form. 🌟💙 #GCSEResultsDay
When Sina joined us in year 9, he didn’t speak English. Today he picked up his A-level results (including an A*!) and is going to UCL to study Physics. He has embodied our school values from his first day with us and we could not be more proud. What an achievement 🙌 #alevels2023

⭐️A few highlights of our week at OASB: ✅ highest attendance of the year, with our Y9s coming in top at 98.2% 🙌 ✅ students with 1000+ house points enjoying breakfast with our Principal 🥐 ✅ our Y8 tour guides doing us proud taking @TedWraggTrust heads on a learning walk! 💙
We do family dining every day but this was a particularly special one… our whole school Christmas lunch! Every member of staff sat and enjoyed a festive lunch with their House Group - there were crackers and even some festive singing! 🎅🎄💙
