What justifies making 8 year old children sit for a four hour test. Really. I need to know. What data can they get from a 4-passage, 25 question test that they can’t get from a 2-passage 15 question test. Someone please explain.
@teachbk @Fergy4Tech I’m testing 12/13 yo and they still have trouble sitting for a test then sitting silently until all test buckets are turned in. 😭🫨😐🫠
@teachbk Because they refuse to just use IQ tests. That's how people used to get into gifted programs. You took it one time and that was it. Other than that you just took the Iowa test a few times in elementary
@teachbk I have 8th graders that will be testing 3 hours a day for 10 days between April 16 and May 14th.
@teachbk My thesis is measuring how much pain the future workforce can endure under late stage capitalism?
@teachbk Why do they take four hours? If reading in grade level, reading a story or 2 and answering questions should not take that long. 🫤
