The “quality” of a person is not determined by test scores or Ivy League admittance. What’s evidenced by those two things are your wealth, your ability to take a test.

Sadly institutions that value those two things have a tendency to look down on folks from state schools. Trust me. I’ve been asked about my educational background until well into my late 30s/early 40s. And I have two degrees.
@tanzinavega I had Ivy League peers in grad school (public university) and they were so funny. They needed really specific directions for every assignment. The rest of us public school grads just figured it out. They also formed social cliques which was weird.
