Just flew over the mouth of the mighty Murray in SA. Today I met with traditional owners, irrigators, farmers, industry, community + more to hear their experience, concerns and ideas. Delivering the Murray-Darling Basin plan is complex, but it’s the right thing to do.
@tanya_plibersek What was the carbon footprint of your unecessary flight ?
@tanya_plibersek All those emissions for a photo op. WOW.....
@tanya_plibersek I believe South Australians are more concerned with and have serious grievances about suffering the highest power costs in the nation and the lack of interest from you lot.
@tanya_plibersek Also looking forward to exploring the @CSIRO modelling of a #KatiThanda #EyreBasin #SeaOfGalilee plan for presenting to the #Arabana people and all our stakeholders in future. We commend it to you. @MattGrudnoff @TheAusInstitute asynsis.medium.com/kati-thanda-ey…
@tanya_plibersek You’ve done enough Tanya Plibersek….the Murray Darling River system is chock full, the dams are 95% full. This means that in a very wet spring that we are expecting, flood mitigation using the dams is not an option. Therefore “tip” at least 20% now. This flood will be massive!
@tanya_plibersek And Plibersek is suddenly the expert.
@tanya_plibersek Littleproud couldn’t do it and he has a clue. You have no hope.
@tanya_plibersek Thank you. South Australia is worth saving.
@tanya_plibersek Burn that Carbon champion you are a hypocrite
