The "Is this a pigeon?" meme comes from the anime series Taiyou no Yuusha Fighbird, which got a Famicom shooter courtesy of Irem. Unfortunately, the shooter is one of the most maddeningly sluggish, trivially easy games in the genre... even on "Hard Mode". Is this a kusoge?

Picture is not pretty but it gets the job done. And definitely NOT blocky haha Which product do you recommend? I was considering going SCART
I wouldn't be shocked if Naito felt like remaking Hydlide 1 for the game's 10th Anniversary, but T&E Soft wasn't really interested, so the higher ups told him "Fine, but you have to use our golf game engine, to save on costs", thinking Naito would refuse, or something like that.
I don't think anyone's ever really asked Tokuhiro Naito about Virtual Hydlide's development in retrospect, but I have to imagine it came out the way it did because Naito called T&E Soft's bluff, or something. You don't make an action RPG out a golf game engine by intention.

これ以上の完成度にするのは現状では自分には無理かな。 キット化するのであれば、ケースを３Ｄプリンタで作成。 コントローラと中間基板をプリント基板で作る。 コネクタは使わずに、ピンヘッダで上下の接続をする。 とかにすれば、最低限の手間で改造できるようになりそう。
大きさはこんな感じ。 前回との比較も。 一般的なファミコンのカセットの箱より小さい。 厚みは36mm。8ビットポケットの最厚部より少しだけ厚いくらい。 操作感は悪くはないがやりやすいわけでも無い。
インターフェイスはボリューム、イヤホン、充電用USB-C、リセットボタン、電源。 ビデオアウト、２コン、エキスパンドコネクタは省略。 全部下側に配置したので、誤操作する事は無さそう。
コネクタ。 手持ちが無かったので１０ピンの物を使っているが実際は８ピンでＯＫ。 5VとGNDは２本ずつ使っている。 液晶の5VとGNDとビデオ、コントローラの5VとGNDと信号線３本。 液晶とコントローラの5VとGNDをまとめれば６ピンに出来る。
液晶のコントロール基板はテープ止め。 軽い基板なので特に問題なさそう。 落としたりしても、この基板が剥がれるより早く他の部分が破損するだろう。
液晶はネジ止め。 ケースは液晶の枠の上下のみ引っかかるようにしてある。 画面部分は前面に透明アクリルをはめ込んでいて、ケースの左右が引っ掛かるようにしてある。 アクリルは液晶の枠とケースに両面テープで固定。 アクリルのフチの部分は裏からえんじ色に塗装してある。
ファミコン側からは5V、GND、コントローラの信号３本、リセットボタン、ビデオ、サウンドが来ており、追加基板に半田付け。 あまり長くすると、配線が邪魔になりケースに入らなくなるのでギリギリにしてある。
バッテリはよくある小型のモバイルバッテリを使用。 大きさがギリギリなのでＵＳＢコネクタを取り外し直に線を出す。 ケースを除去すればもう少し余裕が出来るが、安全を考えてむき出しにはしない。 容量チェックのためのＬＥＤは透明なアクリルでケースまで光を延長する。
二階建てにするのにファミコンの基板側のネジ穴が足りないので基板を挟み込むスペーサを作って使用。 ケースの幅ギリギリになっているので蓋をすれば外れる事はない。 ネジ穴がある部分は普通の8mmのスペーサを使う。
追加基板を作成。 ファミコンの基板と２階建てにする。 大した回路は付いておらず、アンプとビデオの７５Ω化だけ。 ただ今回は液晶側と基板側が分かれているので、コネクタを付ける必要がある。 インターフェイスもここに付ける。 バッテリをここに張り付けるのでスペースを多く取っている。
ファミコンの基板の修正。 薄く小さくするために、リセットボタン、エキスパンドコネクタ、コントローラコネクタを除去。 オシレータ、電解コンデンサを寝かせる。 上のコンデンサは邪魔になるので裏に回す。 設計的に裏面２ｍｍ、表面８ｍｍ（カートリッジコネクタ除く）に収める。
ケースの作成。 設計図通りに切って瞬間接着剤で貼るだけ。 前回より圧倒的にパーツ数が少ない。 インターフェイス部分は現物合わせで穴を開けたりしないといけないので、結構面倒。
一通り完成した。 ギリギリの大きさのバッテリーを入れているのでちょっと重いのが難点だが、もっと小さいバッテリーを入れればいいだけだな。 バッテリー残量の表示は各自工夫してくれって感じ。 自分の合は横に穴を開けて対応した。 全体的な大きさについては満足かな。
