every person i see talk about this movie is saying how good emily blunt is i can’t wait
my immediate takeaway from Disclosure Day is that it’s in more interesting and direct conversation with Minority Report and The Fabelmans than it is with Close Encounters of the Third Kind. and also that Emily Blunt is very good at acting. two takeaways I guess.
everyone needs to tap in to this show it’s so good
this scene is genuinely terrifying at first, but the chase goes on for so long that it ends up being funnier than it is frightening, and THAT is the genius of #WidowsBay—the way it teeters, very deliberately, at the tipping point between horror and comedy.
