An empty DTC bus at 9 PM. Not because there are no passengers—hundreds were waiting at bus stops along the route. The driver simply wouldn't stop. Route 356STL Dwarka Cluster Depot 22 buses are notorious for this. The only reason I managed to board was because, as I saw the driver not slowing down at my stop, so I pulled out my phone and started recording with flash. The driver immediately stopped. For many Delhi residents, these are the everyday hurdles involved in something as basic as boarding a public bus, especially the old orange ones. Operator contracts need stricter infractions clauses for not stopping.

GRADUAL COLLAPSE OF LAW AND ORDER IN DELHI. Was outside Vegas Mall, Sec 14 Dwarka on 31st May at 11:43 PM, When suddenly 2 cars (Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Scorpio) one after another exited the mall parking started driving recklessly (drifting, burnout and whatnot) with absolutely no regard of public safety. This went on for almost 15 minutes. Traffic was disrupted, nearby vehicles and civilians were in danger of getting hit by one of these cars. They had the audacity of doing all this when there is a police booth on the other side of the mall (not even 100 meters away). I went and informed the police personnel stationed there and they probably called in a patrolling vehicle. The moment these guys saw it coming from the other side they escaped from the scene. It the entire scenario, it was evident that they had no fear of law enforcement and the consequences that might follow. They were busy making videos, fooling around. Just in February this year, 23 year old Sahil Dhaneshra was k*lled by a speeding Scorpio driven by a minor hardly 3 KMs away from here. The condition is degrading with each passing day. Every now and then I come across over speeding, rash driving and road rage incidents in Dwarka. How many more incidents like this would it take for the administration to act strongly and crackdown on such retards who have made a complete joke out of this city? @dtptraffic @DelhiPolice @CMODelhi

@noidametrorail metro station at sector 52 needs a major intervention. Access sold out to restaurants, one has to walk through the water logged street. DMRC card not applicable, 50% vending machines out of service or on maintenance. Not at all comparable to @OfficialDMRC
