Dmitrijs Zelenkovs is on fire 🔥 📈 He’s comfortably the club’s biggest riser right now, with his average rating up by 1.26 over the last 3 matches compared to the 3 before that. 🏃♂️➡️ Žiga (+0.93) and Talla (+0.86) are next on the list. More stats on RFS.team
💯 Herdi Prenga made his 100th appearance for @RFSDaily today, becoming the 16th player to reach that mark! 💙 He joined the club three years ago and has since scored 7 goals, provided 2 assists, and won two Latvian league titles (2023, 2024), the Latvian Cup (2024), and the Super Cup (2025). And the next player to hit 100 is already close, Isma has 98 appearances! 👀
The match against Daugavpils is already underway, but you can still get a ticket - whether you missed kickoff or just decide to head to the stadium mid-match. No restrictions! 🎟️ tickets.rfs.team P.S. While I was writing this tweet, I noticed that two more tickets were sold. So someone has already made use of this feature, wow!
Last week brought more than just the major Player Ratings update - a few important UI improvements went live too! 📊 Advanced Stats has been completely rebuilt. Instead of only showing rankings, it now lets you see where @RFSDaily stands among all Virslīga clubs for each metric directly on the x-axis - before you even open the full rankings. And even if you support another team, it’s definitely worth exploring, there’s a lot of interesting stuff in there! 🏆 The Euro Simulator has also been updated - both the main version on RFS.team and the Baltic version at eu.rfs.team. The results of both draws have been added, you can now view each opponent’s path, and the remaining two qualifying rounds now show a seed/unseed label. 👥 The Player Comparison section also got a UX update: selecting players is smoother, and the comparison metrics are clearer and more readable. 🎟 tickets.rfs.team has been refreshed as well. The ticket-selection cards are now cleaner and easier to use. As a small bonus, there are a few fun details when you choose a child ticket or add multiple tickets :) Still building! 💙
The Player Ratings section has been updated! There’s now more than just the overall season rating. I’ve added two new tabs: 🔥 Hot: players with the highest average rating over the last 5 matches. 📈 Stock Up: players who have improved the most, comparing their average rating
⚡ Tickets for @RFSDaily first European match of the season against @Glentoran went on sale just a couple of hours ago, and they’re already going fast! 🎟️ Don’t wait too long if you want the best seats 🏃♂️➡️ tickets.rfs.team The match card is in Conference League colors, as it should be :)
The Player Ratings section has been updated! There’s now more than just the overall season rating. I’ve added two new tabs: 🔥 Hot: players with the highest average rating over the last 5 matches. 📈 Stock Up: players who have improved the most, comparing their average rating from the last 3 matches to the 3 matches before that. Players now also earn badges not only for their overall performance across their entire @RFSDaily career (you can see those on their personal profiles), but also for their current-season form. There are now 4 types of season badges in this section: ⚡ In Form - the player is in the team’s top 15% by average rating over the last 5 matches. ✅ Stock Up - the player’s average rating over the last 3 matches is at least 0.5 higher than it was over the previous 3 matches. 🚀 Bounce Back - the player bounced back after a dip: his rating was below his average in the previous match, then improved by at least 0.5 in the latest match and went back above his average level. ❤️🔥 Hot Streak - the player’s rating has gone up for at least 3 matches in a row. I also improved the chart design and added a few visual updates. It’s already live on RFS.team, just go to “2026 Player Ratings”.
@LV_futbols Starp citu, šoreiz izloze būs diezgan vēlu - ČL plkst. 17.00, KL plkst. 19.00. Grupiņas gan būs, kā parasti, no rīta - ap 09.30
Jevgēņijs is the best goalkeeper in RFS history! 🧤 He doesn’t just have the club record for clean sheets (40), he also has the highest clean-sheet rate: 55%
THIS GUY is going to be in goal for @RFSDaily 🥹 Welcome, Rihards! I went through Dukla’s highlights and picked out some of his best saves 🔥
✍️ Esam parakstījuši līgumu ar visiem labi pazīstamo vārtsargu Rihardu Matrevicu, kurš mums par transfēra maksu pievienojies no Čehijas kluba Prāgas "Dukla". Esi sveicināts LNK Sporta Parkā! 💙fkrfs.lv/rfs-turpmak-pa…

🇫🇮Finland, 🏴Wales, 🇮🇪Ireland, or 🇮🇸Iceland: the most likely opponents for @RFSDaily That’s the conclusion I came to after going through the full list of teams in the first qualifying round and looking at how UEFA has built draw groups in previous years. For those new to this: UEFA doesn’t run a completely open draw. Before the draw, clubs are split into smaller groups. There’s no fully transparent formula behind it, but regional logic is usually part of the process. That’s why, for example, a club from San Marino is usually less likely to be drawn against RFS than a club from Northern Europe. This year, though, all three Baltic clubs are seeded, which means RFS almost certainly won’t draw Lithuania’s Hegelmann or Estonia’s Kalju. And with Linfield from Northern Ireland and Víkingur from the Faroe Islands also seeded, Glentoran and NSÍ Runavík are unlikely opponents as well. So the most likely Nordic-Baltic group could look something like this: ≫ Seeded: RFS (€9.75m) Žalgiris Linfield Levadia Víkingur ≫ Unseeded: 🇫🇮 Ilves Tampere (€4.25m) 🇫🇮 Inter Turku (€3.83m) 🇮🇸 Stjarnan (€2.86m) 🇮🇪 Bohemians (€3.58m) 🏴 A Welsh side: Connah’s Quay (€1.38m), Penybont (€1.18m), or Caernarfon Town (€1.15m) Of course, UEFA sometimes moves one or two northern teams into other groups for balance, and that could happen again this time. But in this case, this group looks very balanced: there are no direct association conflicts. RFS avoids Liepāja, Žalgiris avoids Hegelmann, Levadia avoids Kalju, Linfield avoids Glentoran, and Víkingur avoids NSÍ. 🗓 The first-round draw is coming up on June 16, just 10 days away! The draw itself usually takes place around midday, while the groups are typically announced a few hours earlier, usually in the morning.
Built for RFS, expanded to the Baltics! The Eurocups simulator now includes not only every club in Latvia, but also teams from Lithuania and Estonia! 🇱🇻🇱🇹🇪🇪 ➡️ Our Baltic friends, try it out with your favorite club here: eu.rfs.team
I got so inspired by yesterday’s simulator that I decided to build a bigger one - this time for every Latvian club! After all, every successful European run by one of our clubs helps move Latvia higher in the UEFA coefficient rankings. So when it comes to Europe, we’re cheering for all Latvian teams 🇱🇻 ➡️ Jump in at eu.rfs.team, generate a draw for your favorite club, and see the odds by running up to 100,000 simulations in just a few seconds. The simulator will keep getting updated for as long as at least one Latvian club is still in European qualifying. I’ll be adding the actual draw results, match results, and everything else along the way. Can’t wait for European football to begin! 😍
My best run yet! Dream draw fr 🥹 Try it here: RFS.team
Exactly two weeks until the June 16 draw! That’s the day @RFSDaily finds out its first opponent in the upcoming European campaign. To mark the occasion, I’ve launched the Euro Simulator on RFS.team. You can use it to simulate possible draw outcomes: who RFS might face in the first round and beyond, how each matchup could play out, and what the overall chances are of making it through each round. 📊 You can also run up to 100,000 simulations at once to get a bigger-picture look at the odds. ⚽️ Try it out and see who RFS could be playing this summer! ℹ️ Team lists for each round and the qualification format are based on data from @kassiesa. Team strength ratings are based on @EuroClubIndex data.
MOMENTS is live on RFS.team, just in time for its 4th birthday! 🎉 Today is a special day for me: RFS.team turns 4. And I’m really happy to celebrate it by launching a new section on the site - Moments 🥳 📹 It’s a collection of some of the biggest moments in @RFSDaily history, now in a short-video format. The first goal - against Metta at Hanzas in 2016. The first trophy - the 2019 Latvian Cup final in Jelgava. The first league title - that rainy November day in Daugavpils in 2021. Big European nights against Ajax, Galatasaray, Anderlecht, Gent, APOEL and others. Wild finishes like the comeback in the Faroe Islands, Belfast 2022, the 2023 title race - and a lot more! 📲 The idea is simple: you can go through RFS history the same way you’d scroll through Shorts or Reels. So, four years in, RFS.team now has: 📊 advanced stats for almost every match, except for the games that weren’t covered by any data provider; 🆚 detailed season stats, so you can compare RFS with other Virslīga clubs; 👤 player comparisons - for the current season and across all-time RFS numbers; 📈 player ratings and performance trends, which make it easy to follow how a player is doing over time; ↕️ Trivia, which is still one of the most visited pages on the site. It’s a game where you guess which player has more or fewer goals, assists, or appearances. There’s also a classic quiz mode :) ⚽️ scoring for every official match, plus season histories, tournaments, opponents, stadiums, player pages, coach pages, and probably a bunch of other things I’m forgetting right now; 📹 and now, short-video Moments :) When I launched the site in 2022, I honestly had no idea it would grow into something like this 🥹 Thank you to everyone who has supported the project over the past four years. Every repost, like, comment, and kind word really does mean a lot! And of course, I’ll keep building 🙌
In just over 3 days, the app turns 4 years old 🥹
I'm super excited to reveal what I've been working on for the past few months: RFS.team Stats of ALL matches, players, managers, stadiums and more since the first Virslīga campaign in 2016
