God’s guidance does not come through how intelligent you are or how generous you are or how skillful you are, but rather does come by how obedient you are in faith. Likewise, judgment, does not come by how good you are at pointing out someone else’s sin, or how generous you are sharing your vast knowledge, especially of the Scriptures, it does come based on your lack of obedience in faith.

What Do You Crave? Every day, multiple times a day, little alarms are triggered inside your brain. They make your stomach growl, your mouth water, or your mind become fixed on that which you crave. God gave us physical needs that mirror our spiritual needs, too. Needs that must be met to stay healthy and alive. Needs that must be satisfied over and over again. In fact, food is often used in the Bible as a metaphor for our spiritual needs (it's called "our daily bread" in Matthew and the "pure milk" of the Word in 1 Peter, to name a couple.) In the fourth beatitude, which are a series of promises Jesus made about God’s Kingdom, Jesus said this: “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” Matthew 5:6 NIV Do you long for righteousness and justice? Do you desire the ways of God? Do you yearn for His kingdom to come? Do you want to be someone who chases after that which can never truly satisfy, or someone who hungers and thirsts after God? In this upside-down kingdom where Jesus is Lord, the poor can be rich, the weak can be strong, and the empty can be filled. Jesus Christ not only holds the keys to “living water,” but He is the “Bread of Life.” So, when you feel Him prompting your heart—to fight for justice, to love the unloved, to stand up for what’s right (even when it’s not popular)—pay attention. He stands ready to fill you with everything you need.

Exactly. I've never met a stranger. I love being out of my circle and meeting everyday people, extending a smile or a kind gesture, especially to people who don't expect it. I meet new people (appraising houses) up to 10 times a week. Each time is a new opportunity to be ready, to show kindness, to listen to their heart. Sometimes the loudest cry for just a sliver of kindness is found in the mundane things that may never distract us, unless we were listening with our heart. At times I go into a house, and am just going along inspecting, measuring, taking photos, etc., and will notice a book or a wall hanging (anything with a hint) and what starts out as routine becomes a prayer meeting. Like you said, I love interacting with circles, but my tiny circle is hard to get into, yet my larger circle is often people I meet only "one time ever"... which I seem to do a lot of.

Because people wanna keep having sex outside of marriage, we’re having sex out of convenience, even in a marriage, instead of being a wholy faithful to a holy God. So anything that takes away from my goals, I’m gonna play God! And that’s their mentality. They want to pretend whatever it takes to stay in the light or just stay in the comfort zone. Thank you, Lord for calling us out of that!

Amen! The goal of prayer is not to make sure God hears you. The goal of prayer is not to make sure God gets your list right. God’s not your butler. He is Almighty God. The goal of prayer is to take yourself to God. All of you. Afterall, He gave all of Himself for all of our sin!

So far so good! In bed by 10:30-up at 4:30-to drive at 6:30-hopeful to be back home by 3-4pm A typical Saturday for me. It seems like no matter how hard I try I just can’t go to bed early. I can sleep in, but not on Saturdays. I appraise residential houses, and a lot of people are home on Saturdays, and many of the places I drive to I would not want to drive during the week because of terrible traffic. So I would rather get a little less sleep on Friday night and have to drive all day on a Saturday, then spend even more time on the road with heavily congested times during the week. So it’s a little less sleep but better in the long run. I’ll see 7 houses today Hope yours gets better

I’m obsessed with Jesus …and I won’t apologize. He didn’t save me halfway, so I’m not about to only follow Him halfway.

It’s take me a lot of hardship to learn to respect myself enough to make boundaries. There’s a lot of people in this world, and they all deserve the same common decency that I would like for myself. But it’s not my job to go around making sure they get it, or to be gullible and let everybody in. It wasn’t until I was 52 years old that I decided to slow down Let God take charge The funny thing is when I started saying no There were a lot of people that didn’t like hearing no But after a while, saying no, gave me a lot more peace of mind and earned me a lot more respect amongst peers All the same people that were hanging around barging in They’re all gone My circle has gotten a lot smaller And I’m not chasing after things Thank you, Lord!
