For me, I saw a lot of creators on ig reels, building in public.
I was not gonna make ig reels obviously because I was just starting out coding, so gemini suggested me to also post on X in addition to Linkedin. I followed that advice. Infact at one time, I completely stopped posting on LinkedIn and only posted here 😅
ezsnippet definitely motivated me a lot ngl
What made you join tech twitter?
For me it was a reel from @ezisnippet about build in public
Then I made my acc on tech twitter, started sharing about my projects , got my first free lance from this platform.. monetized my acc learnt alot from here made so many good
Here's mine:
Ever since I graduated high school, I have always felt like a loser. I thought things would change but I was wrong. I wasted all my high school years (wasn't serious + covid) as well as first 2 years of my Btech.
Then one day, reality hit me and I realized nobody was going to hand me a future. I had to build it myself.
I started to code for the first time in my 4th semester, a time when a lot of students are doing internships. I know I was late. But I have kept on going ever since.
I started this account on 25th January, 2026. Intially, joined X because of 2 reasons:
> Social accountability
> I was tired on LinkedIn because no connection there felt real (yk what I am talking about 🙂)
And then gradually day by day, I kept posting and building connections. I hit 600 followers after 3.5 months of documenting my journey and posting consistently.
Haven't been active since May 26th. I have my end semester exams from 11th - 30th June which includes 2 previous backlogs too. I have to push myself to limits this month. Wish me luck
Share the lore of you joining X 👀
Here's mine:
Since joining college, I always struggled to find ambitious, like-minded people around me.
I thought joining clubs would help, so I joined pretty much every good tech club in my college hoping to connect with people who were
@ArpitaDas1601 Good to hear. I had exams actually , 6th sem midsems. I prepared well because I can't risk a backlog in this semester onwards otherwise degree extend hone ke chances. Finished exams and then got sick too. Now I am okay but restarting is so difficult and revising previous concepts
@Jessika_almis Thanks alot. Yep college pushes you to extreme limits especially cs degrees where you manage exams, attendance, assignments, presentations. And then whatever is left, you can code 😹
This is what happens after 2 weeks of staying inactive
Life Update:
> Had my mid sem exams
> Arranged farewell for seniors
> Got hit with food poisoning for last few days
Thankfully, I have a solid window until June 15th before end-sems begin. I will be resuming the journey today, balancing both my coding grind and exam prep. Good to be back. 🤝
@ramxcodes I would really love seeing a full dsa roadmap from 0 to master. But include the detailed approach of solving the problem as well as which pattern to follow eg neetcode etc
