Stacks @stacksdotfun

the honest version of stacks for anyone who hasn’t looked yet: it’s a launchpad on pumpfun. coins are priced in other coins instead of SOL. buying one buys the chain under it. the 1% fee peels off every coin it touched, buys $STACK, and burns. stacks top out at five. the mechanism never sells anything. if you understand that paragraph you understand the whole product.

the vault is the only coin on stacks that’s priced in SOL. everything else is priced in something that eventually resolves to it. every skim, every stack on the board sends a slice of its fees down, and whatever reaches the bottom buys $STACK and burns it. the vault is bought by the whole platform’s activity and it’s never sold by any of it. one coin at the bottom of everything, and it only gets scarcer.

@waifu_xbt everything is correct and working!

let me walk through one buy on stacks because it explains everything. say there’s a stack four high. you buy the top. to do that you buy the coin under it first, because that’s what the top is priced in. to buy that one you buy the one under it. and so on down to $STACK. so your one buy is four buys. four coins got bid up. the people holding the bottom one just got fed by someone who’s never heard of them. that’s the mechanism. there’s no second mechanism.

you may ask why the fee burns instead of going to holders. because the moment a fee goes to a wallet, somebody controls that wallet, and the moment somebody controls it the whole thing is a promise instead of a rule. we don’t want promises. the fee buys the vault and burns it, every skim, and nobody including us can route it anywhere else. that’s the point of writing it that way.

a rug on stacks hurts the rugger’s coin and the coins above it. it can’t touch the coins below. value only flows down. that’s not a feature we added, it’s what pricing in each other does.

picking what to stack on is the whole game. strong base, open spots, volume under you: good seat. full stack, nothing under it moving: bad seat. that’s more thinking than most launchpads ask for and that’s the point

5.29 sol currently locked in the vault from 2 tokens, stacks are stacking. go add to it!

why coins stacked on coins: because a coin by itself has nothing holding it up and nothing to hold up. a coin on a stack has both.

picking what to stack on is the only real decision on stacks. you’re choosing what your coin is priced in and whose buys run through you. the coin under you can pump you. it can’t rug you. it can only push value down, never pull it up.

five high is the limit. a stack with five coins on it is full. nothing lands on it. if you want in, you buy up through it and every coin under the top gets bid up on your way in. stacking early isn’t a bonus. it’s the position.

what a 1% fee does here: it gets skimmed off every stack the buy ran through. it buys $STACK. it burns. that’s the full list. no treasury, no team, no keeper, no “ecosystem fund.”

you can’t pump the top of a stack without pumping everything under it. to buy the top you buy the one under it, and the one under that, down to the vault. one buy moves the whole pile. there’s no way to lift a stack alone.

a stack is a coin sitting on another coin. it’s priced in that coin. a drop is a buy. to buy the top you buy everything under it first. a skim is the 1% fee peeling off every stack it ran through, buying $STACK, burning it. that’s the entire mechanism. no roadmap. no treasury.

meet stacks every coin on pump.fun starts from zero and ends up back there. sol in, sol out, nothing left behind. stacks is different. every coin launched here sits on top of another coin, and buying it means buying what’s underneath it too. whatever gets bought on the way down stays there. at the bottom is $STACKS, the base. every coin launched on stacks is a bill, and every bill is priced in the base instead of SOL, or in another bill already on the stack. you still buy with SOL. it’s one swap that walks down the stack: SOL into the base, the base into the bill. buy a bill on a bill and it runs through every layer. you can’t reach the top without going through the bottom. and the base doesn’t leave. it sits inside the bill that bought it, so every bill is its own pile of the base pulled off the market. more buys, bigger pile. more bills, more piles. it runs on pump.fun’s new pairs. every bill is a real coin that graduates the normal way. launches go straight from your wallet through pump.fun’s own program. no platform fee, no team cut. pick your bill when you launch: $1, $5, $20 or $100 sets your creator fee from 0.25% to 1%, paid to your holders or to you. stacks on stacks. $STACKS stacksonstacks.fun
