@_st0012 Fucking hell! Congrats man! It's one of my holy grails. Damn, I am so motivated by this. Thanks for sharing 🙂 I literally got back to calisthenics *yesterday* 💪🏻 How long did it take to get there?
ps. say hi from me to all the fine Ruby folks at RubyKaigi!
@pasmichal_@somone Yes but it requires creating a cross-network mention manually for now with autocomplete working only for bsky. I'll be improving it over time, it's tricky business.
@codestirring You can create an iOS shortcut and just use siri to dictate stuff and send to mmbl - all that's needed is an API end point where the voice recording could be posted
@jorgemanru@ThePrimeagen There are people with different views and then there are fascists and neo-nazis, and BTW do some research to see what's going on with Musk, his support for neo-nazi parties and individuals, and how he uses fascist tactics to run this place. This is why some folks want to ban X.
CW: mentions of holocaust and WWII
That's one of the ways how fascism works where misinformation is one of the tools.
MS Copilot vs Grok responses to a Musk picture doing his thing the other day.
@jskalc This is a smart trick. I don't think that .cursorrules file is a reliable source of info for Cursor (it seems to be ignoring it?). I'll do what you did. Thanks for sharing this.
@justcrosspost Supporting X has been uncomfortable but it's a required step to grow JCP. I already talked to people who said that it helped them get into Bsky and LinkedIn and post there consistently too. I guess it can work then 🙂
@justcrosspost There will be features helping people discover Bsky, Mastodon, LinkedIn and other ways of publishing. I want JCP to grow beyond social media and make it a place that eases publishing to various networks, blogs or even places like a GH repo for your static site generators.
👇🏻
FYI the only reason why @justcrosspost supports X is to help people discover and move to other platforms. I will never prioritize support for X and maybe even remove support for it if possible.
👇🏻
Looks like I continue the trend of almost-never getting accepted as a speaker when I submit proposals. I guess I just need to become louder to start getting invitations again 🤣
I will see you at @ElixirConfEU this year regardless 🙂
🤔 Do you also end up with function names like this?
- publish_post
- do_publish_post
- finally_actually_publish_post
- now_its_time_to_really_publish_post
- and_here_actually_send_the_request_to_publish_post
What's the remedy? 🤣

When you're working on libraries, you sometimes get to implement the weirdest tests ever. How about we test if a method can be called in a trap context without crashing due to mutex synchronization?
