And I lost that spark, that will to keep doing the things I love. Itās not burnout. I think Iāve just started to hate it because it reminds me too much of the pain. And now Iām stuck somewhere between forcing myself to continue and wondering if I should just stop and walk away.
Sometimes it feels unbearable to live beyond my own expectations. I keep pushing past my limits, draining myself, believing it will be worth it. But the results never come close to what I hoped for. And now, I am just so tired.
So I choose myself. Over and over again. Every time I need to be reminded that I am worth choosing.
And maybe I wonāt always get it right. Maybe there will be days when I forget. But each time life tests me, Iāll come back to this truth: I deserve the same care, loyalty, and protection I give to everyone else.
In the end, I choose myself. Not out of pride, and not because I donāt care. I choose myself because Iāve learned what happens when I donāt. Iāve seen how easy it is to shrink for others, to bend until something in me breaks, to pour so much that I forget Iām running empty.
It is scary, how well people pretend. š
Sometimes people donāt need space. They just need someone to pull them closer, because deep down, they already feel alone. š
Donāt expect people to be there for you, just because youāre always there for them. ā¤ļøāš©¹
Loving someone harder, doesnāt make them love you back. ā¤ļøāš©¹
And just like that, weāre back where we began. Strangers. ā¤ļøāš©¹
Someone once told me, āYouāre hard to love.ā Maybe he was right. I always seemed to ruin every relationship I had. Maybe thatās why I started writing Alternate Universe. Because in that world, thereās no version of me who ruins things.
Ia belajar menjadi pelindung saat dirinya pun belum mengerti arti kata kuat. Belajar menelan tangis agar tak terdengar, Belajar tertawa ketika hatinya retak.
Letting go doesnāt mean I cared any less. It simply means I finally care for myself, too.
The Art of Letting Go I have always loved with both hands open. Too open, perhaps. I give my heart freely, without calculation, without armor. To some, that makes me naive. To others, soft and easily bruised.
