Here is everything you need to know about the @MirandusGame Fireside Chat! 2024 Plans for Mirandus There was an offsite meeting where the team discussed the direction of the game with the community that were able to attended the offsite. The videos showcase what the team has been working on a weekly basis. These videos are used in their internal meetings and are not specifically from the fireside chat. The first video shown was of the geography and terrain that they have been working on. They also showcased several additional plants and ores that could possibly be in the next playtest. The lighting is still not done correctly, and that is something that will be constantly improved upon. One of the reasons they switched to URP was to account for the hundreds of people running around with torches; these are dynamic lights. Towns are dynamic lights as well. 4000 players in a zone 👀 The next video played was about the animation of both humans and creatures, showcasing the movement of walking, running, and several other animations.
The next section was about how the team applies shaders and textures to the animation models and how they can apply several to one model since they have split the 3D model into separate parts. The subsequent section was all about blood! and how it interacts with the screen; they wanted it to be as visceral as they needed it to be. Also, the flowing of water and showcasing rivers and beaches. The next part showcased different cemeteries, and the new design is awesome; I definitely prefer this design over the previous version. Additionally, there were several level designs and biomes. There was a lot of beeping in this part, so half the information is locked 🤣. The purgatory ideas were also awesome, mirroring the cemetery and showcasing the other side.

@smilinmonstr @MirandusGame I have not watched it, do they still require exemplars from the players?
