"We've had in Delhi, a Minister, now he's become a Cabinet Minister, saying "Goli Maaro". What is that, if not incitement to kill" : former SC judge Justice Madan Lokur asks while speaking at a webinar on topic "Hate Speech in India". "How have courts reacted?", J Lokur asks.
@LiveLawIndia It is surprising that these chaps are our judges, he could have been an excellent congressman instead. While his concern is genuine, he is almost assuming a political role to the SC.
@LiveLawIndia If judges are tempted to play the opposing role (however worse the conduct of a govt. may be) it is another kind of eroding faith in an institution. It is for the political parties to deter the govt from social harmony, not the business of judges or courts). This BS has to stop.
@sistlajsr @LiveLawIndia Yes, the kind of BS you're saying should be stopped.
