True strength is the courage to admit our weaknesses.
@simonsinek Once we admit them, we have the opportunity to turn them into a strength.
@simonsinek Also a sign of one being their authentic self.
@simonsinek You have got an excellent point here, @simonsinek. If someone were to come up to you today and ask about your experience with transformational leadership, accountability should be at the top of your list.
@simonsinek Yes, @simonsinek. I cannot stress this enough. This is a big thing when it comes to upskilling. For example, if we do not understand something, allowing those around you to know we need help is a must for getting to where we need to be, in my opinion.
@simonsinek Weakness is that connection point between people. People all fail and they want to connect over people over have perfect leaders.
Needed to be reminded about this today. Vulnerability is such an important part of authenticity. It's hard to implement sometimes. Depending on who you surround yourself with, the world can be unforgiving. People latch on to you tiny mistake and create a whole narrative to tie you to that past. I know the work is to move through and find your real tribe. It's just difficult for most on the day to day.
@simonsinek Vulnerability truly is an underrated virtue.
@simonsinek Then look for the people who complement your weaknesses - does wonders especially in relationships and businesses
@simonsinek Yes! And HOW you admit it matters. You can admit it with confidence and acceptance, or with fear and excessive vulnerability (or anything in between).
