This works, but I think the real bottleneck isn’t cloning features or even UI. It’s answering two questions honestly: Are users actively complaining? (1★ reviews, Reddit, X, support screenshots — specific pain, not vibes) Is distribution structurally weak? (over-reliance on ads, no creator moat, no SEO, no community) If incumbents are doing $50–100k/mo and their growth is paid + fragile, that’s opportunity. If they dominate organic + creator mindshare, UI alone won’t save you. Reverse-engineering demand is step one. Out-distributing them is step two. Everything else is secondary.
