No woman is a cis woman. We’re not a subset of our own definition. We are adult human females. A transwomen is exactly that, a transwoman. A male who identifies as a transwoman based on a feeling not a reality of actual biological sex. Women don’t need or want a prefix
@sharrond62 This is absurd. Women use prefixes all the time. “Blonde” woman “Black” woman “British” woman Etc etc. In the context of gender, it is perfectly reasonable to use the term “cis” to differentiate from “trans.” GC folk have such small, shrivelled hearts.
@sharrond62 I refuse to use any of the new terms that are popping up. TERF etc, they can stick it! Men and women. That's it. The End!
It would help.greatly, @sharrond62, if you would please stop using the misleading term TW and instead called them Transvestites or trans identifying men. They should never be allowed anywhere near the word 'woman', as it gives the wrong impression that they are a type of woman. They are, of course, a type of men.
@sharrond62 The acceptance of twisted word preferences was the beginning. There is nothing other than a wish and prayer that has anything to do with a man being, or being called, a woman.
@sharrond62 maybe just eliminate the women part...They are trans..that way no one will think are any type of woman.
@sharrond62 Not to pick nits, but there is no such thing as a trans woman. Biological males literally cannot morph into the opposite gender. It’s a biological impossibility.
@sharrond62 The word doesn't make you a "subset" of anything. It's an adjective. It describes women that aren't trans. Another fitting adjective for you would be "dense", as well as "racist".
@sharrond62 Some handy flashcards! 😉
@sharrond62 That’s why it’s important to say transwoman rather than trans woman. If you make trans into an adjective it becomes a subset thus allowing the introduction of cis. Language matters. It is the way we describe reality.
