There's no evidence that students have been forcefully prevented or blocked from entering classrooms. And it's unclear how a tent encampment would restrict that ability.

@shadihamid Camping is not a first amendment protected activity. Neither is trespassing.
@shadihamid no evidence, except all the student reports and the actual videos we can all see
Wow, when students & staff form a line, arms linked, and shouts of “from the river …” you don’t see that as interference? How about a jewish student recognizing HIS current professor linked arms in that line? You don’t think that student would be intimidated & pretty fucking sure they will be treated poorly in the classroom? Lock up every damn one of them
@shadihamid Then why have in-person classes been canceled?
@shadihamid Columbia switched to remote learning for the rest of the year LMAO
@shadihamid (a) There’s plenty of video evidence. (b) Stop normalizing tents. It’s not your property.
@shadihamid I love how Netanyahu said “the world cannot stand idly by” as if a bunch of tents at Columbia is the precursor to us starting a holocaust or something
@shadihamid Classes were called off / moved to remote learning because the students were threatening & harassing Jewish students.
