The former CEO of the Trudeau Foundation revealed details of the scandal surrounding the funding from Beijing that was given to the foundation - on Wednesday the Ethics committee will question Alexandre Trudeau on his involvement.
@dubsndoo They’ll take out the entire Foundation and reporters and anyone else that gets in their way. And for what? To cover up the fact that they were taking money from China and it was obvious that high level politicians and the Trudeau family was involved? I’m appalled.
These people all knew, and they all lied about what they knew. They knew the money came from the Communist Party to benefit it. And it wouldn’t have even been that big of a deal, untoward dealings perhaps, but the donors just happened to keep on popping up in Trudeauland later on.

A 2014 article shows Université de Montréal vice-rector Guy Lefebvre met with the China Cultural Industry Association (中国文化产业协会) which would donate to the Trudeau Foundation in Beijing. He met with Zhang Yu of the CCP’s Propaganda Department to set up the “Trudeau fund.”
Not quite correct. This deal was made in June 2014 - long before Justin Trudeau was elected Prime Minister, while he was active in the Foundation. Here is Trudeau’s brother with Zhang Bin setting up the donation. Foundation records also list Zhang Bin as a donor in 2015 and 2016.

I'll be flying to London to attend the coronation of King Charles III. Last time I was there, I got backlash for staying in a $6,000/night hotel room. To save taxpayer money, Minister of Affairs Mélanie Joly and I have agreed to share the $6,000/night hotel room on this trip.
