You cheapen the sacrifice of Jesus on Calgary by elevating your trauma, pain and victim-hood over the power of the cross. THE BLOOD OF JESUS IS ENOUGH.🩸
Sometimes the healing journey is a process- u have to talk about it -while walking through with Jesus. I believe that David throughout the Psalms gives us great examples of healing through trauma using honestly with our words. Trauma cannot always be decreed away mostly it's walked through. The help factor IS the beautiful blood of Jesus and His truth. But healing is a process. Just like walking through Leukimia treatments for over a year with my grandson. I believed the Word. I decreed the Word. There was not an instant healing -but a day to day process some of which was hellish- however we r now almost to the other side- and Jesus Blood has yet won again. But it was a process. The very same way it is for many who r walking through mental trauma right now. It's not either or- It's both.
@seanfeucht As a man whose 6 yr old daughter was sexually abused by a leader in a church setting, I’m not sure you know the gravity of what you’ve said. His blood is enough, but there is very real pain that doesn’t magically disappear. We are His hands & feet. We MUST feel AND help heal.
@seanfeucht Yikes. This is a bad take no matter which way you look at it.
...the One Who sacrificed Himself identifies with every victim of abuse, pain, trauma, AND hyper-religious disregard. Check-mate.
The root tragedy of this post, is that Sean is blind to the fact that this is an hour when he should be crying out in pain and anguish! The trauma, grief, and lament that he's denouncing is precisely what would make him whole in Christ... The "bonus tragedy" here is that 650 🩶's apparently believe we can "grow up into" the Man of sorrows while diminishing the "sorrow" part.
This is nothing but sick, superficial, platform religion... What cheapens Jesus' sacrifice on the cross is a traveling rock-star callously treating human trauma like a 3rd grade math equation. Furthermore, castigating those who are in the throes of experiencing trauma and abuse for not doing the right thing to get free totally defames the heart of our "paraclete" God. But the worst! - to accost victims of trauma and abuse while saying nothing about the perpetrators of trauma and abuse - that's pure antiChrist.
