Cam Wolfe on NFLN: “Great job by David Mulugheta and his team to get this done. But this is a massive loss for the Dolphins. Wilkins was the center of their defense. Their heart and soul… They did not tag him. They’re in a cap situation. Money is tight. A lot of decisions… Talking with executives they think this could be a reset year for the Dolphins.”
@schadjoe How can we not agree that this was wayyyyy to much money lol
@schadjoe @phinsforlife305 The people that said he was the "center" of their defense hasn't watched the last 10 games of the last 2 seasons and the playoff games. Horrendous play by both the "center" of the defense and the rest of them. He is a luxury, like Mack, the Raiders can afford. How did that work?
@schadjoe Wilkins was not remotely the center of the MIA D. Despite being an excellent DT, I cannot recall a single game where Wilkins was the deciding factor.
@schadjoe Is its a reset year then finz fans need to tune out this dont watch or go to games maybe then the nfl might show mercy and force ross to sell team
@schadjoe Remember Grier’s original plan? How far he’s come in 6 years 😂 news-journalonline.com/story/sports/n…
@schadjoe I can't express how angry I am at Grier for letting him go. Fins D is going to miss his passion and leadership. The door of opportunity for the @MiamiDolphins is closing.
@schadjoe Yep @TomGarfinkel tell Chris to keep up the great work
@schadjoe This is not a massive loss for the money Wilkins got paid! He did nothing against the elite teams we played! Sieler played better in big moments.
