@sbg1 @NewYorker It was a troubling hearing. IMO, Michael Dreeben’s best argument was when he appealed to the court’s textualists, by suggesting the constitution never established Presidential immunity [in the text] , and therefore, the court would be breaking new ground if it now made it so.
